We have been working alongside Michigan Allied Poultry Industries for nearly a decade, serving as their full-service marketing team through leadership transitions, evolving goals, and everything in between. Michigan Allied Poultry Industries (MAPI) is a nonprofit statewide association representing Michigan's egg, chicken, and turkey farmers. Founded in 1940 and farmer-led for more than 85 years, MAPI works to advance and support the prosperity of Michigan's poultry industry.

MAPI needed a marketing partner who could show up consistently, learn the brand inside and out, and handle the full spectrum of marketing needs without requiring a lot of hand-holding. What started as a working relationship has grown into something that looks a lot more like an in-house team… just without the overhead.

Here's What We Did

Our work with MAPI spans the full marketing mix, handled on an ongoing basis with a yearly strategy session to set direction and a fluid approach to adjust as needs evolve.

Monthly Marketing Support

Every month we handle social media planning, copy, graphics, and scheduling across their platforms. All the Executive Director needs to do is review, provide feedback, and approve in Asana. We also manage sponsor ad coordination, connecting with sponsors to approve their ad placements and social highlights as a perk of their sponsorship program, and handle ongoing website updates as needed.

Event Marketing

Throughout the year we run the full marketing arc for MAPI's key events, including the annual Winter Poultry Seminar, their golf outing fundraiser, and Pullorum Blood-Tester Certification classes. For each event, we handle the technical infrastructure (landing pages, waitlists, and ticketing setup) as well as the full promotional side: registration campaigns, social promotion, printed materials, event slides, and more. The event planning is theirs. Everything else is ours.

As-Needed Creative

When something comes up, like swag, a flyer, a one-off campaign, we're already in the brand and ready to move. Because we know MAPI so well, we can turn things around efficiently without a lengthy briefing process.
